Basic combination sharpening stones
The sharpening stones from our Basic collection are combination sharpening stones. A combination sharpening stone, as the name already suggests, combines two grain sizes in one stone! Incredibly practical! And with the Skerper Basic sharpening kits you will immediately have everything you need to quickly get started as a real knife sharpener.
You need to use water when using the stones from the Basic collection. This means you have to submerge them in water a couple minutes before use. Also make sure that as you use the stones they stay wet. When you use water a slurry emerges as you sharpen your knife. Great because you need this slurry to end up with the best results and to make sure your stones stay in great shape!
